MOU on 2008 Olympic inspection and quarantine signed

10月12日，國家質(zhì)檢總局、北京市人民政府和北京奧組委在京共同簽署了《北京奧運會檢驗檢疫工作合作備忘錄》。
依據(jù)《備忘錄》，國家質(zhì)檢總局將牽頭成立“推動2008年北京奧運檢驗檢疫工作協(xié)調(diào)小組”，全面展開北京奧運會、殘奧會檢驗檢疫工作。國家質(zhì)檢總局、北京市人民政府、北京奧組委將召開聯(lián)席會議，建立合作機制，在簡化通關(guān)手續(xù)、加強奧運食品安全等方面做好奧運會的各項檢驗檢疫工作，共同推進“新北京、新奧運”戰(zhàn)略構(gòu)想的實施。 |

China's General Administration of Quality Supervision,
Inspection and Quarantine, the Beijing Municipal Government, and the Beijing
2008 Organizing Committee (BOCOG) on Thursday signed a Memorandum of Understanding
(MOU) on inspection and quarantine for the Beijing 2008 Games.
According to the MOU, the AQSIQ will take the initiative to setup a
coordination team for the inspection and quarantine of the 2008 Games to fully
engage in the work for the Beijing 2008 Games.
AQSIQ, the local government, and BOCOG will convene joint meetings and
establish a "cooperation mechanism" to push forward
the implementation of the strategic ideal of "New
Beijing, Great Olympics".
AQSIQ Minister Li Changjiang said that the supervision and quarantine work
will serve as an important window to reflect the concept of "People's Olympics".
BOCOG President Liu Qi said that the parties will study and formulate
quarantine policies, examining methods and supervision measures to provide
secure and comprehensive services for the Olympic personnel.
