Knock out指“擊敗，淘汰”，所以這場比賽如果以韓國隊(duì)為主語的話，應(yīng)該說South Korea knocked out defending champion Germany in a 2-0 match on Wednesday。德國隊(duì)是被韓國隊(duì)打敗，慘遭淘汰，所以這里使用的是被動的get knocked out，當(dāng)然也可以用be knocked out的形式。

Exit平時的意思是“（建筑物或者某個場所的）出口”，比如，emergency exit（緊急出口）。這里的exit指的是從某個活動中“離場”，比如：England's exit from the European Championship.
