針對(duì)當(dāng)前一些地方天價(jià)彩禮、奢侈浪費(fèi)辦婚禮等問題，民政部日前要求，全面推進(jìn)婚俗改革，倡導(dǎo)簡約適當(dāng)?shù)幕樗锥Y儀。

民政部要求推進(jìn)婚俗改革，遏制天價(jià)彩禮、奢侈辦婚禮等問題。

民政部明確提出了一些地方在婚俗方面存在的問題，包括天價(jià)彩禮（excessive spending on dowries）、奢侈浪費(fèi)大操大辦（extravagant and wasteful wedding ceremonies）、人情攀比（peer competition）、低俗鬧婚（vulgar wedding practices）、拜金盛行（rampant money worship）、道德滑坡（moral degradation）等。

近幾年，天價(jià)彩禮以及低俗婚鬧等新聞?lì)l繁登上頭條，有些家庭因?yàn)樘靸r(jià)彩禮背上了沉重的債務(wù)，還有些家庭因?yàn)椴识Y發(fā)生暴力流血事件。

The bride prices in rural areas are often dozens of times more than the annual incomes of those paying them. Families of the bride can demand not just cash but jewellery, cars, houses and more.
農(nóng)村地區(qū)的新娘彩禮通常都是新郎家年收入的十幾倍。新娘家要的彩禮不僅是錢，還有珠寶首飾、汽車、房子等。

Bride prices can be very specific. In Shandong province, families in 2016 require a set of gold earrings, and a gold necklace, one house, one car, and 150,050 yuan, paid in 10,000 five-yuan notes and 1,000 one-hundred yuan notes, and one 50-yuan note, according to a CCTV report.
有些新娘彩禮的要求特別具體。據(jù)央視報(bào)道，在山東，2016年的時(shí)候，新娘家會(huì)要一對(duì)金耳環(huán)、金項(xiàng)鏈、一套房、一輛車，外加15萬零50元現(xiàn)金，這些現(xiàn)金要以1萬張5元錢、1000張100元的錢以及1張50元的錢來支付。

而低俗婚鬧也已被廣泛詬病，有些行為甚至涉嫌性騷擾（sexual harassment）或人身傷害（assault）。

針對(duì)這些問題，民政部要求，要鼓勵(lì)和推廣傳統(tǒng)婚禮（traditional wedding practice），積極倡導(dǎo)和組織舉辦集體婚禮（group wedding）、紀(jì)念婚禮（commemorative wedding）、慈善婚禮（charitable wedding）等格調(diào)高雅、內(nèi)涵豐富、特色突出、文明節(jié)儉的婚禮形式。

民政部社會(huì)事務(wù)司副巡視員楊宗濤表示，要利用農(nóng)村基層組織（rural grassroots organizations），把辦婚禮的流程、數(shù)額等，通過村民公約的形式固定下來，通過農(nóng)村的紅白理事會(huì)來給予規(guī)范。

This year, starting in December, Huzhu county in Qinghai province, where bride prices can reach more than 100,000 yuan in rural areas, authorities issued a maximum limit of 60,000 yuan.
今年12月起，青海省互助縣規(guī)定彩禮上限不得超過6萬元。此前，當(dāng)?shù)氐牟识Y金額都在10萬元以上。

Last year, Taiqian county in Henan province released a set of restrictions, limiting the number of guests – no more than 10 tables – and the value of wedding gifts – no more than 60,000 yuan.
去年，河南省臺(tái)前縣出臺(tái)結(jié)婚彩禮“指導(dǎo)標(biāo)準(zhǔn)”，要求喜宴酒席控制在10桌以內(nèi)，彩禮總數(shù)控制在6萬元以內(nèi)。
