Exactly! You were talking about it so much, and I was trying to work. “Banging on about something” 的字面意思是 “敲打某物”，但實際所表達(dá)的意思是某人沒完沒了地嘮叨一件事情，讓人感到厭煩。
Roy
Ah, the way in which you kept talking about that film ‘Unicorns Eat Bananas in the Stars’! You banged on about it so much last week that people left the room.
