The 7th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) held in Yan'an from April 23 to June 11 in 1945 adopted Mao Zedong Thought as the Party's guiding ideology. A new chapter called "General Programme" was added to the Party Constitution passed by the congress. Mao Zedong was elected chairman of the Central Committee, chairman of the Political Bureau and chairman of the Secretariat at the First Plenary Session of the Seventh CPC Central Committee in June of 1945. He was appointed chairman of the Central Military Commission at a meeting of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee in August of the same year.
1945年4月23日—6月11日，中國共產(chǎn)黨第七次全國代表大會(huì)在延安舉行。大會(huì)確立毛澤東思想在全黨的指導(dǎo)地位。大會(huì)通過的《中國共產(chǎn)黨黨章》增加“總綱”部分。6月，七屆一中全會(huì)選舉毛澤東為中央委員會(huì)主席、中央政治局主席和中央書記處主席。8月，中央政治局會(huì)議決定毛澤東為中央軍事委員會(huì)主席。
