Queen's Platinum Jubilee: Celebration plans unveiled 英國女王登基70周年慶祝安排公布
英國白金漢宮公布了為紀念女王登基而舉辦的一系列70周年（又稱 “白金禧年”）慶?；顒?。第一項活動是甜點大賽：選出一款全新的甜點，以慶祝女王在位的周年紀念。
It will be a pudding fit for a queen – or more precisely, for a Queen's Jubilee. In celebration of her 70 years on the throne, Buckingham Palace is asking Britain to get baking.

It's a nationwide competition to create the Platinum Pudding. The winning creation will be one of the ingredients to be enjoyed during the Platinum Jubilee Bank Holiday weekend.

On the final day, Sunday the fifth of June, the Big Jubilee Lunch will be staged in communities across the country – that Platinum Pudding will be part of the menu.
在慶祝活動的最后一天，即6月5日星期日，“周年慶祝午宴” 將在全國各地社區(qū)舉行，屆時被選出的 “白金” 甜點將登上菜單。
And the Platinum Jubilee Pageant will be staged on the Mall [in London]. From pudding to pageant, the organisers hope it will indeed be a fitting tribute to the Queen's 70 years of service.
除此之外，“白金禧年紀念慶典” 將在倫敦白金漢宮前的林蔭大道舉行。從甜點到慶典，活動組織者希望這會是對女王70年服務(wù)的恰如其分的獻禮。
