 倫敦奧運將為英國創(chuàng)造三萬個工作機會 [ 2009-02-10 16:53 ]
雖然全球遭遇經(jīng)濟危機，2012年倫敦奧林匹克公園的建設(shè)卻如火如荼，英國奧委會宣布，倫敦奧運會將需要三萬名工人投入建設(shè)之中。
目前，有七千人正在倫敦東部的場館附近施工，其中23%來自本地。奧運場館建設(shè)還為倫敦的就業(yè)者創(chuàng)造了很多實習(xí)的機會，如目前就有2500人在現(xiàn)場擔(dān)任實習(xí)職務(wù)，實習(xí)生的數(shù)量還會增加250人。
倫敦奧運執(zhí)行部的主席John Armitt表示，倫敦奧運場館建設(shè)“一切順利”。主體育場已經(jīng)初具雛形，同時位于Weymouth和Portland帆船比賽的場館已經(jīng)完工。
OLYMPICS 'TO CREATE 30,000 JOBS'
Construction of the London 2012 Olympic Park will create jobs for a total of 30,000 workers, according to the organisers of the Games.
The Olympic Delivery Authority says 7,000 people have already worked on the east London site and of the current workforce, 23% are local residents.
The ODA also says it is creating 250 new apprenticeships on top of an existing 2,000 already planned.
ODA Chairman John Armitt said the building work was "right on track". Mr Armitt said good progress was being made, with the Olympic Stadium taking shape and the first venue - the sailing facilities in Weymouth and Portland - completed.
