 奧運(yùn)觀光“動(dòng)車組”下線

我國首批為北京奧運(yùn)會(huì)特別打造的4列“和諧號(hào)”內(nèi)燃動(dòng)車組旅游專線列車，日前完成線路試驗(yàn)，全部下線，將于奧運(yùn)期間正式運(yùn)行于北京至八達(dá)嶺之間。通車后，全程運(yùn)行只需約1小時(shí)20分鐘，比原先節(jié)省近一半時(shí)間。

Four high-speed trains, the first of their kind made only for sightseeing during the Beijing Olympics, have rolled off production line recently. The Diesel Multiple Unit (DMU) trains will only serve the rail line between urban Beijing and the Badaling section of the Great Wall.
首批為北京奧運(yùn)會(huì)特別打造的4列高速觀光列車于日前下線。這些內(nèi)燃動(dòng)車組列車將專門運(yùn)行于北京城區(qū)和八達(dá)嶺之間。
上述報(bào)道中，Diesel Multiple Unit是“內(nèi)燃動(dòng)車組”，簡稱DMU；Multiple Unit是“動(dòng)車組”，Electric Multiple Unit是“電力動(dòng)車組”，而“動(dòng)車組列車”就是Multiple Unit train；那么“觀光動(dòng)車組”就可以翻譯為Multiple Unit trains for sightseeing。
