A cross-eyed opossum (see photo) in Germany called Heidi who is not yet even on public display has become an Internet hit, winning more than 65,000 admirers on social networking website Facebook, AFP reported. Heidi is thought to be 2 and a half years old, and was abandoned outside an animal shelter in North Carolina, the US and has been in Leipzig zoo since May, 2010. The zoo believes Heidi's eye problem may be to do with her diet before she was abandoned, or because she is overweight, leading to fat deposits behind her eyes.
據(jù)法新社報(bào)道，德國(guó)一只名叫海蒂的斗雞眼負(fù)鼠(見圖)尚未在動(dòng)物園公開露面就已成了網(wǎng)絡(luò)紅人，目前它在"臉譜"社交網(wǎng)站上擁有超過6.5萬的粉絲。海蒂約2歲半，當(dāng)初被遺棄在美國(guó)北卡羅來納州的一家動(dòng)物收養(yǎng)所門口，去年5月時(shí)被轉(zhuǎn)移到德國(guó)萊比錫動(dòng)物園。動(dòng)物園方面認(rèn)為海蒂的斗雞眼大概和它被遺棄前的飲食有關(guān)，也有可能因?yàn)檫^于肥胖，眼后脂肪沉積而導(dǎo)致。
