About the film:
The film is an epic story about the Jian family in Taipei, from three different perspectives: themiddle-aged father NJ (Nien-Jen Wu), the young son Yang-Yang (Jonathan Chang), and theteenage daughter, Ting-Ting (Kelly Lee). The three-hour film starts with a wedding, concludeswith a funeral, and contemplates areas of human life in between.

影片從不同視角敘述住在臺(tái)北的簡(jiǎn)姓一家，中年的父親簡(jiǎn)南俊（吳念真飾），小兒子楊楊（張洋洋飾）和正處在青春期的女兒婷婷（李凱莉飾），影片歷時(shí)三個(gè)小時(shí)，從一個(gè)婚禮開(kāi)始，到一個(gè)葬禮結(jié)束，在這兩者之間上演著對(duì)人生的思考。
